Testing the difference of parameter estimates in multi group analysis of SEM

I was discussing new feature of multi group analysis in SEM with Professor Takahashi at Keio University in Japan.

He was very great full that JMP Pro 17 is going to support multi group analysis in SEM. But also wished to have ability to test differences of parameter estimates between groups at once.

He said that he has "critical ratios for parameter differences" output in AMOS in mind. It does not necessarily to be just like AMOS but he says that it would be great full to have result of tests in as some kind of table.

Do you have some sense of the priority of this output for the customer? For example, if we add this feature (or something similar), will it lead to adoption or expansion? If we don't add this feature, will it put a license in jeopardy?

Professor Takahashi is currently using JMP to provide lectures and research guidance to graduate students and companies.
According to the professor, the following two points are important

-Many practical cases (companies) and case studies (universities, research institutes) deal with complex models, not simple models and using the Model Comparison Table functionality implemented in JMP Pro 17 will take time and effort.
-Also, both business people and students want the output to be like AMOS, with respect to testing the overall parameters, all at once.

The people the professor is teaching have expressed a strong desire for this feature for the above reasons.
The professor also believes that the lack of this function will cause users of JMP Pro's SEM to use AMOS, even temporarily, and he is concerned that this will result in a flow of users to AMOS.

It is difficult to name a specific priority or number of licenses, but it seems that having the feature would prevent users who want to do SEM with JMP from leaving.
