Resource CenterRe: List of JMP.com redirects and shortcuts

@andreacoombs1 - I've gone ahead and created a geo redirect for the Live Event Calendar page, as you suggested. And have added the following vanity URL above in the "for prospects" list... although events for users do also get listed.

https://www.jmp.com/events

Re: List of JMP.com redirects and shortcuts

it would be nice to have one for the Live Events Calendar - jmp.com/events

https://www.jmp.com/en_us/events.html

Re: List of JMP.com redirects and shortcuts

That's a great one @maria_astals! I added it to the list. Thanks!

Re: List of JMP.com redirects and shortcuts

Thank you! Here another useful one: jmp.com/optin - In Europe, leads and contacts have to allow us to send them marketing e-mails.

Re: List of JMP.com and community.jmp.com redirects and shortcuts

@Aaron_Kennedy , @Ryan_Gilmore  is removing the Mastering tree of videos (https://community.jmp.com/t5/Mastering-JMP/tkb-p/learn-jmp-tutorials-tkb).  As discussed with you, in the US, the registration pages will live in the Community (https://community.jmp.com/t5/Learn-JMP-Events/eb-p/learn-jmp-events).  After the event, I will post the videos to that registration page and Community magic will remove the event dates and I will edit the page to include the video.  And the default view is all current and past events, but each viewer can use the filers (see below) to find current, past, by Analytic Capability etc.

So please change US jmp.com/mastering tree to point to: https://community.jmp.com/t5/Learn-JMP-Events/eb-p/learn-jmp-events

And change community.jmp.com/mastering to point to the same place: https://community.jmp.com/t5/Learn-JMP-Events/eb-p/learn-jmp-events

Will you (or shall I)  change the descriptions in Jeff's posts after you make the changes, @Aaron_Kennedy ?

Re: List of JMP.com and community.jmp.com redirects and shortcuts

@gail_massari - As requested, the /mastering vanity URL has been updated. It should now point to the community (you *might* have to clear your cache)...
https://www.jmp.com/mastering

I don't have access to update vanity URLs for community.jmp.com. I believe @Ryan_Gilmore can get that updated for us.

Lastly, I leave it you on get Jeff's post updated. Thanks.

Re: List of JMP.com and community.jmp.com redirects and shortcuts

@Aaron_Kennedy , the mastering redirect should be only for US pages. In Europe jmp.com/mastering should still go to the Mastering JMP Pages:

• English: https://www.jmp.com/en_gb/events/mastering/upcoming-live-webinars.html
• German: https://www.jmp.com/de_de/events/mastering/upcoming-live-webinars.html
• French: https://www.jmp.com/fr_fr/events/mastering/upcoming-live-webinars.html

This will probably change in January, but at the moment there is no way to organicall find the Mastering JMP Pages.

Thanks!

Re: List of JMP.com and community.jmp.com redirects and shortcuts

@maria_astals @gail_massari @Ryan_Gilmore - Looks like I made changes without without fully understanding what was being asked. And had forgotten that we had set up a geo redirect to handle the scenario in Europe. I apologize for that.

So... I have reverted the change I made last week. Maria, that should once again point European folks back to the URLs you referenced. Change should push ~12pm ET.

Gail and Ryan... We had set up the redirects in AEM so that non-European folks get pointed to https://community.jmp.com/mastering . So, when the community redirect gets updated, that will also impact jmp.com/mastering (but still point EU folks to AEM pages).

Re: List of JMP.com and community.jmp.com redirects and shortcuts

It works! Thanks @Aaron_Kennedy

Re: List of JMP.com and community.jmp.com redirects and shortcuts

Hi @Aaron_Kennedy and @Ryan_Gilmore Does that mean Aaron can redirect only jmp.com/mastering for US and Canada to https://community.jmp.com/t5/Learn-JMP-Events/eb-p/learn-jmp-events AND/OR that Ryan G. has to redirect https://community.jmp.com/t5/Mastering-JMP/tkb-p/learn-jmp-tutorials-tkb to https://community.jmp.com/t5/Learn-JMP-Events/eb-p/learn-jmp-events ?

Re: List of JMP.com and community.jmp.com redirects and shortcuts

@gail_massari Yes. In talking with @Aaron_Kennedy last week, essentially, no change was needed other than having community.jmp.com/mastering changed to the new location (and we have Khoros support ticket open for that).
