Our customers use JMP to experiment and learn – and so do we.
We’re hosting a Usability Lab at Discovery Summit Americas. Consider it an experiment that will help us understand how people use JMP 17 features.
“When we put a design into the world, we make assumptions about how people will use it,” says Senior Product Manager Bryan Fricke (@bfricke). “Whenever we create a feature, we make a hypothesis that it will work in some way.”
The Usability Lab is based on best practices from Nielson Norman Group, the leader in research-based user experience. It will show us if people understand how to use a feature the way we intended and guide us as we make JMP as user-friendly as possible. And Discovery is an ideal time for the lab, while we have a large group of JMP champions gathered.
Help us moderate the Usability Lab. Here’s what’s required:
- Sign up for a timeslot (All are welcome, but it will help if you have some knowledge of the features tested)
- Participate in a prep session (approximately 30 minutes)
- Follow the script during your assigned lab time
- Moderate, observe, help the user as needed
