Welcome Suzanne Brooks

Suzanne Brooks joins JMP as Inside Sales Account Executive for the Premier team.

Title: Inside Sales Account Executive

Manager: Dara Hammond (@dara_hammond)

Region: Americas

Sales Team: Premier

Start Date: Aug. 15, 2022

LinkedIn Profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/suzannegbrooks/

Dara conducted a fun Q&A with Suzanne. A few things to know about Suzanne:

Who are your family members? Ken, Harrison (sophomore at UofSC), and Jessica (senior at Broughton HS)
Do you have pets? Charlie - a 35 lb mini-labradoodle (who will have a hard time adjusting when I go to an office!)
What are your favorite pastimes? Traveling with family, NCSU and UofSC football games, casual gatherings with friends
Binge or no-binge? Last binge… Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix. And (OK - this one is embarrassing)... The Bachelorette. We started watching it with Jessica (daughter) and got sucked in! It's so bad! (Dara aside: Had I known this prior to hiring this welcome message may not be going out I'm usually a better judge of character and morals.)
Last thing you do before you go to bed? I make sure the kitchen is picked up and check my email one more time. I leave my phone in the kitchen every night (started that habit with the kids and have stuck with it).
Favorite holiday and why? Thanksgiving or July 4th. I love them both! No gift pressure - just traditional fun with family & friends.
One thing about you people may find most surprising (this is the ice breaker for them to approach you in the hallway). That's hard... I'll go with a fun fact: I hiked the Grand Canyon in one day. (Dara aside: That's a big deal!)
Mountains or beach vacation? Beach.
Are you athletic and have a history of sports in your life? I didn't play sports growing up, but was a dancer. I love to watch sports though! (Dara aside: Dancing is a sport!)
Favorite food to eat? Favorite meal/food to prepare and share? Favorite food to eat is a good filet but my favorite food to prepare is breakfast food.
Most excited to join the JMP team because… It seems like such a vibrant place to work! It will be so different from financial services and I'm excited for the change.
