JMP 13 Training Starter Rev 2

Hello SEs,

 

Rev 2 of the JMP 13 Training Starter is now available for download at:

 

smb://jmpsmd.na.sas.com/Users2/Brady/JMP13 Developers/JMP13_Training_Starter.jmpaddin.

 

Updates include:

• Journals for Advanced Mastering (Text Explorer), New in JMP 13 and SE Monthly (Text Exploration) and supporting data sets have been added.
• Video links for the above presentations have been added.
• Online help page links have been updated to reflect changes in JMP's website.
• New datasets have been added, particularly for Text analysis use. 

It is 500 MB; if you are downloading it remotely, it will take a while.

 

A reminder: the materials in the starter, particularly the documents, are for internal use only. The datasets are OK to use for demo purposes, but as a rule, don't share them with customers unless they already reside in JMP 13's sample data folder (which several of them do.)

 

There is a "New in JMP 13" Journal on the file exchange that can be accessed by, and shared with customers; a JMP Pro version will be after the corresponding webcast is given. Too large to e-mail, these are best "shared" by e-mailing the link:

If you feel that you must share with a customer a dataset that is not part of the shipped sample data, please ask me or Dan Valente first. Thanks!!

Rev 1 of the JMP 13 Training Starter is now available for download at:

Updates include:

-Journals from US and Seoul Summits.

- Additional files and resources, especially for Text Explorer.

- Updated versions of SWOTs and Talk Tracks.

- Custom help pages are now available, to limit the amount of searching you have to do.

It is a staggering 485 MB; if you are downloading it remotely, plan for it to take a while.
