In our session on January 24 we will first have an introduction to Product Management from Sara Doubt. This will include an introduction to some of the industry resources that we have.
After this we will have an "Unsession" with breakout rooms for the different industries. There you will be able to ask our experts any questions that you have. This should be helpful in completing the team homework exercise. Our experts will be able to tell you about relevant customer stories, sales stories and case studies. They might even be able to show you a quick JMP demo to show you how our customers use the software in their industry.
You will have the opportunity to join 2 different break out rooms.
We also hope that you will spend some time getting to know each other and making connections with JMP colleagues for your career beyond JMP Academy.
What we are expecting from our JMP Industry Experts
What do you need to do before the session?
- Not much. The intention is that you should have only a very small amount of preparation to do.
- Be ready to share any favourite stories about how JMP is used in the industry. (Don’t prepare any slides though)
- Be ready with links to any useful resources.
- If you like, you can be ready with a very brief demo that will give our class an idea of how JMP is used in industry. It will need to be REALLY brief and simple though.
In the session:
- Make sure that everyone (experts and Academy class) introduces themselves – what is your role? what is your background?
- Make sure that everyone speaks up at some point.
- Encourage the class to ask questions.
- Keep it simple. Our class is from a variety of roles across the JMP organization.
After the session:
- We hope that you will be happy to help our class with any questions that they might have beyond JMP Academy.
