Mastering JMP: creating a new Live WebinarWhen creating a new Live Webinar, there are a number of moving parts to keep in order. If/when all is set up correctly, a new Live Webinar may list in the following four places:
- In the right column of the Overview page (if it is one of the next five upcoming Live Webinars)
- On the Upcoming Live Webinars page.
- In the right column of the corresponding Topic page.
- In the right column of the corresponding On-Demand landing page (if it exists).
FOR NEW TOPICS
To set up a Live Webinar for a brand new topic:
- Create a new parent folder in the /events/live-webinars/mastering-jmp/ folder. The easiest way to do this is to copy one of the existing parent folders and update its Title to match the new Topic page. Note: Copying an existing parent folder will also copy its children (which is good… see next step).
- Move/Rename one of the children (of the new parent folder that got copied in step 1):
- Page Title: Should match the new topic.
- Page Name: Should be the date of webinar (e.g. 01-jan-2020).
- Update “Page Properties” (see steps below).
- Delete any unneeded children that might have been copied in step 1 (optional).
- A new Topic page will need to be created in the /events/mastering/topics/ folder. Instructions for creating a new Topic page can be found here. In the right column of the Topic page, the “live webinar” list group (at bottom of column) will need to be linked to the parent folder created in step 1.
- Eventually, an On-Demand Webinar will get created. Instructions for creating On-Demand landing pages can be found here (TBD). In the right column of the On-Demand Webinar, a list group will need to be linked to the parent folder created in step 1.
FOR EXISTING TOPICS
To set up a Live Webinar for a topic that already exists:
- Navigate to the parent folder of the existing topic in the /events/live-webinars/mastering-jmp/ folder.
- Copy one of the existing children:
- Page Title: Should match the new topic.
- Page Name: Should be the date of webinar (e.g. 01-jan-2020).
- Update “Page Properties” (see steps below).
STEPS FOR UPDATING LIVE WEBINAR CHILD PAGES

AEMMastering JMPTraining MaterialsRe: Mastering JMP: creating a new Live WebinarWhen a Live Webinar folderis copied, and a child (actual Live Webinar) is MOVED or COPIED sometimes the correct codes do not propogate to the Registration Form. Aaron @Aaron_Kennedy and Craig @Cra1g showed me how to check the page (like this one https://aemauthor.unx.sas.com/editor.html/content/jmpbp/en/events/live-webinars/mastering-jmp/new-in-jmp17/14-oct-2022.html). I need to check urls in the Registration by editing Form Start (Form Container).
Also, remember not to pubish until everything is correct.
1. Make sure this Form Container Tab contains correct Thank You page name/path:

2. Make sure the top of this Form Container Tab contains correct Email confirmation name/path. Make sure botton contains correct Calendar Inviation .ics file name/path.

3. DON'T WORRY ABOUT THIS FORM CONTAINER TAB. WEB TEAM MANAGES IT.
