- Seagate, Minneapolis, MN – Building Better Models - 15 attended including black belt trainers (2.21.18)
- Seagate, Bloomington, MN - JMP Champion Meeting - 15 attended
- Seagate, Bloomington, MN - JMP Pro trial (start 3.13.18) – 2 people

Defects and Technical Support
[Note: Laura still needs to enter these into defects, etc.]
- Bank of America – had issues trying to understand how the custom regex works – documentation wasn’t sufficient to get started from ground zero - need example of using custom regex – video?
- Micron – JMP Add-in manager – Laura’s notes… low priority but interesting idea.
- Seagate – Oracle time-out and JMP ODBC – current tech support track and gathering info from user Heidi Hardner
- Seagate – Tuning table for bootstrap forest – user was not able to create this from the documentation although they had the right idea (fast flexible filling design) – success with Chris Rea with my version. Need to add to sample library or file exchange.

- Global Foundries – Implementing tech for moving from 14nm to 7nm (skipping Intel heavy 10nm)
- Intel and Micron– Announced end of IMFT partnership on 3D NAND (2019); Intel will partner will Tsinghua Unigroup subsidiary for products to be sold on China market
- Merck – 2017 multiple country and drug approvals for cancer and MS drugs; gastric cancer phase III failure in US
- Monsanto – EU approved Bayer acquisition
- NXP – about to be acquired by Qualcomm (June 2018)
- P&G - Nelson Peltz officially joins as a board member
- Seagate – February released innovative data-center ready 1PB high-density enclosure with 84 drive bays (each takes 8-12 TB drive)
- Western Digital – released new products - 3D NAND, flash memory and HDD
- Whirlpool - U.S tariff a win
- L. Gore - New CEO Jason Fieldwill was in Gore’s Medical Products Division in Flagstaff, AZ. Additional GORE SKYFLEX Aerospace Materials products approved for use on the F-16
