The journal leads you through the case study background.
There are 2 different solutions presented. In both cases the existing data is used to select 7 factors for further study. Then...
Solution A. New 17-run Definitive Screening Design is created and used to build the process model.
Solution B. The existing data is augmented with 8 runs and the augmented data is used to build the process model.
Case StudiesRe: C26 Pigment Milling Case (Kay)Hi @Phil_Kay , thanks
agree on the increasing interest of improving existing data sets and I like the alternative solution you provided in the journal.
Re: C26 Pigment Milling Case (Kay)Hi @martindemel ,
I have fixed that. Sorry it has taken 6 years!
I updated the journal to include an alternative solution where the existing data is augmented (rather than creating an entire new design). Customers seem to be getting more and more interested in this idea of improving existing data sets using Augment Design.
