I am using JMP12 and creating a report with a simple bivariate and data filter. The data table has several numerical columns that will be the Y axis of the bivariate. I want to pass a variable to the bivariate as the column as the Y axis.
ColList = {"col1","col2"};
If I were creating a static report I could easily Us :Y (Column(ColList[x]) in a for loop.
I tried putting a combo box with the filter in a vlist and then using <<get to access the combo box.
I tried using the Column Selector argument, but unsure how that works as the scripting guide only refers to it as an argument option.
Since the data filter is just a method of row filtering, I was curious if there might be a way to shoe horn in a column selector.
I have not tried using a loop at the end checking to see if the combobox value changes then try to perform a recalc.
