With the new platform preferences in JMP 17, the save changes to platform preferences would be great to add the ability to capture the Fonts that are changed.

It is very difficult to discern which font family translates to what in graph builder or other analysis platforms
This new feature will allow people to easily update fonts without having to know the name of that font, which is often unclear.
Time savings and make it more usable.
DOW, and P&G have asked for easier ways to adjust fonts

@Peter_Hersh , can you please provide a little more information on what you're thinking here? Perhaps provide an example and a use case? Is GB the primary platform of interest, or are you asking that this be added across platforms?
Regarding Excel, can you describe or share the functionality that you think should be available in JMP?
FYI - Currently, there is one font family. So, any changes to fonts, if we were able to save to preferences, would apply to all platforms. This might lead to conflicts across platforms unless we add platform-specific font preferences.
@mia_stephens , This has been requested for Graph Builder specifically. Basically, the customer likes a look of a graph with certain fonts and they struggle with setting those fonts in the preferences. I thought adding fonts to the new feature in JMP 17 save platform preferences would be a nice addition. I think you are right that separating out the font preference for graph builder from the general font family would be nice, so you don't change the views of other analyses.
I am not sure on Excel that was a comment from a user at P&G I can follow up with them. The comment was it is easier to customize and save fonts and font settings in Excel than in JMP. It might be a familiarity thing.
