New process for sharing sales wins in Sales ReportThe basics:
New format and process for gathering sales highlights:
- Sales highlights are now being shared via video! We’ve licensed a platform called GatherVoices that makes it easy for people to self-record and upload video using whatever device is most convenient – phone, laptop, tablet, etc.
- The video recording process is very simple:
- You will see directions that will walk you through the recording process, including how to orient your phone, where to position your head on the screen, etc.

- You will see four prompts, each shown one at a time.
- You will be asked to record a short video (60 seconds max) following each prompt. When you’re done with the first video, you’ll be able to review and re-record if necessary before you hit ‘submit.’

- Once you’ve submitted the first video, you will be asked to 'create a profile' -- which means you'll just have to submit your name and email address. Then you’ll be able to then begin answering the second question.
- Once you've entered your information and hit 'upload,' you will be shown a link to where you'll find the second prompt.

- The questions are as follows:
- Please tell us briefly about the customer. (max 60 seconds)
- What were some of the data challenges or pain points the customer was facing prior to this sale or upgrade? (max 60 seconds)
- How will JMP help to solve those challenges or pain points? (max 60 seconds)
- What strategic approach helped you win the business? (e.g., Did you position JMP in a novel way? Beat out a competitor? Engage a JMP champion? Incorporate marketing events?) (max 60 seconds)
- After submitting your answers to all four questions, please send me (meg.eberle@jmp.com) an email notifying me that you’ve finished recording and supplying the following information:
- Company/organization:
- JMP product(s) sold:
- Date deal closed:
- JMP sales team:
- Number of licenses/upgrades:
- Total value (in USD):
- Integral players (e.g., JMP, SAS Education, Global Enablement, external partners, etc.):
- Resources/assets used (e.g., STIPS, workflow resources, white papers, readymade customer-facing PPTs, customer success stories, Statistically Speaking video, etc.)
- Sales Report videos will be hosted on InsideJMP and have a link in the Sales Report email.
- If you would prefer to record video in a language other than English, that's fine too! We can add English subtitles.
- We’re not doing away with written stories. Anyone who is more comfortable sharing a sales highlight in writing is more than welcome to do so.
- If sending a sales highlight to me in writing, please answer the following questions:
