Outside of work, Audrey enjoys – and is highly skilled at – bridge. She and her husband, Lance, recently played in the Raleigh Memorial Day Regional bridge tournament with several first-place finishes and ended the competition in the top 20 out of more than 500 players. They were also the top two finishers from Raleigh!
“Audrey is a really smart, proactive and effective leader. In particular, her work with the team in China has made a huge difference in our ability to produce a quality product. On top of that, she’s just a really fun person to work with.”
-- Brian Corcoran, Senior Director, R&D (@briancorcoran)
"Audrey has been a true partner to me over the last decade as we have shepherded the JMP group through many feature and maintenance release cycles. Audrey is always ready to talk through and tackle a challenging problem, whether it's a problem brought up at a JMP retrospective, a last-minute bug fix that needs critical evaluation, a tool transition like our recent moves to Confluence and Jira, or an update to important internal monitoring processes that scrape data for crash reports, Jira issues, JMP updates and Jenkins jobs. I am truly grateful for Audrey's steady leadership and collaborative spirit as the JMP development team navigates its release process. I was also thrilled to be able to recognize her dedication with a promotion to Director of the System and Host Testing groups in Cary and Beijing this year!"
-- Shannon Conners, Director, R&D (@shannon_conners)
"Audrey has been magnificent in leading change where it was most needed. When we changed our systems from Defects to Jira and Mediawiki to Confluence, she, along with Shannon, led Development through the transformation. For many years, she has taken the lead on training our interns every summer. Also for many years she has mentored the Beijing testing group, which now reports to her. As the head of Testing, she gets a lot of the credit for the high quality of our product. Recently when we needed to nominate someone to present a progress report from Development to the whole company, it was natural to pick Audrey to represent us."
