Including regex scripting in JSL

Question

i want to know how one can add regex functions in JSL. i need to capture a word say " answer" from an excel sheet. all i want to capture is the word "answer" + all the words similar to "answer" like "answre", "answeer" etc; is there a command to capute words similar to a particular word?

JSL has regular expression functions: PAT REGEX, REGEX and REGEX MATCH.  All fully described in the online manual.  Do you need help with the function syntax or with regular expression syntax?
