Show us a dreadful demo... the worst demo ever... a demo that is awful, appalling, shockingly bad, and excruciatingly painful.

We want everyone in JMP to understand how we can demonstrate our products to show the value of this great software to the world.
There are many guidelines for great demos. We thought we could ask you to put these into practise by showing us a great demo of JMP.
But then we thought it would be more fun to do the opposite.
This is your chance to see how many bad tactics, poor practices and terrible ideas you can include in a short demo to ensure that it is an epic failure!
What your team needs to deliver:
A 5-minute recording of a dreadful demo meeting that we will share with the whole class in our session on July 14.
Teams
Team 1: Candice, JinHee, Nancy, Azusa, William
Team 2: ChinFai, Sarah, Vicky, JuHuan, Kei
How?
- This is up to you. You decide how you will collaborate on the task. There is no right or wrong way. And we are not grading you on this!
- Some of you can pretend to be prospective customers. Some of you can pretend to be Systems Engineer, Account Executive or Inside Sales.
- You do not all need to be part of the recording but we hope that you will all contribute to the task in some way.
- It is important for JMP that we find ways to work together across roles, time zones and languages - we know that it is difficult. Think about how you can work on parts of the task in smaller groups or individually.
- The simplest way to record the demo meeting is in a Teams session that you can share with Robin and Phil via OneDrive.
- The product that you demo could be anything. It does not have to be software. Be imaginative.
- Highlight as many good demo practices as possible by doing the opposite.
- You will get more points for creative and funny choices. (You should know that the points have no value though)
- We want you to have fun with this. Please don't overthink it and don't spend a lot of time working on it. Nobody is getting graded on this!
Rules:
- Do not demo JMP. Or Minitab, Tableau, etc. That would not be cool.
- No more than 5 minutes.
- Have fun.
