16:15-17:00 Bright Minds Mingle
Grab your favorite beverage and attend a breakout session. There’s no agenda...just friendly people.
JMP Tips-and-Tricks: You probably know lots of ways to get things done in JMP. But do you know the fastest way? The most fun way? JMP novices and veterans alike will enjoy learning shortcuts and other exciting tips and tricks. Jeff P to pick who runs this session.
Discover Mentorship: If you’re early in your career, you might appreciate time with a mentor? Or, if you’ve benefitted from having a mentor, maybe it’s time for you to return the favor? We’re seeking potential mentors and mentees for an informal meet and greet session. Meg and a European partner to run this session.
Career Conversations: Discovery Summits are great places to network. And the best time to network is when you’re ready to make some changes. Whether you’re looking to fill a position or apply for one, we welcome you to come and join the conversation.
Just for Fun: Talk about no agenda. This breakout room may include pet show-and-tell sessions; bits-and-bobs about movies, television, and books; or any number of things we simply can’t predict.

Missed Connections: Really hoping to meet a specific person at a Discovery event? Have a technical topic, but don’t know who to talk to about it? Or trying to recall which previous Discovery featured cookies and DOE? We’re inviting you to pop into this room toask anything. If we don’t have the answers, we’ll try to find them for you.
Affinity Group for Women in Science and Engineering: Sometimes it’s difficult being in the minority. Sometimes it’s just nice to know that you’re not alone. And it’s even better to be able to embrace equity. We’re inviting women and allies to talk about ways to make the world more diverse, equitable, and inclusive for women. Session run by Anne Milley, Elodie and Nicole.
Academic/Industry Partnership: Students worry about landing a great job. Professionals worry about hiring well. We’re trying to take the worry out of the equation, and connect JMP users in academia and industry so that when hiring is on the table, everyone is in a good place. Session run by Curt and Volker.
