Professional and inviting new look. Thanks so much.

Re: JMP PowerPoint templates

I love these templates! Thank you! Any plans for a couple additional options with white backgrounds?

Re: JMP PowerPoint templates

Hi@LauraCS - No, there are not any current plans to create templates with white backgrounds. We've followed SAS's lead and have gone with dark backgrounds for accessibility reasons. However, you can still select the "JMP - Image Only - White" slide option in the "Layout" dropdown menu for any particular slide. This option is particularly helpful if you have an image that doesn't work well on a dark background.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone!

Re: JMP PowerPoint templates

Hi Meg-san,

These are wonderful!!

BTW, Is there any plan to create the company confidential version?

Best,

Rei

@Meg_Eberle Thank you!

Re: JMP PowerPoint templates

Hi @rei_yama , Thank you for the reminder! Yes, there will be company confidential versions -- they should be ready by 27 January.

Kind regards,

Meg

Thank you Meg! Looks very good!

Re: JMP PowerPoint templates

Hi @gail_massari, are you using any of these new Templates for Mastering JMP in 2021? If so, I will also change the European slides for the purpose of consistency.

Re: JMP PowerPoint templates

@Elias_Pickrahn Yes, see attached. I just have one slide for now that is the opening slide. Will email it to you. will modify it for the opening to new videos.

Re: JMP PowerPoint templates

@Elias_Pickrahn can you please forward me the template for Mastering JMP? Thanks!

@Meg_Eberle The templates look great!

Re: JMP PowerPoint templates

Thanks, @mia_stephens ! Glad you like the new look. My understanding is that the design team is following SAS's guidance on the issue and only using dark backgrounds at the moment. But here's a tip that @Aaron_Kennedy has passed along: you can still select the "JMP - Image Only - White" slide option in the "Layout" dropdown menu for any particular slide. This option is particularly helpful if you have an image that doesn't work well on a dark background.

Re: JMP PowerPoint templates

I really like this new look, thank you! Have tried to use the templates for technical presentations, and am struggling with the black background. Any plans of developing a template with a white background? Please?

Re: JMP PowerPoint templates

Hi @mia_stephens, I too felt the need for a white background... the white slide option is okay but feels like it breaks with the rest of the template (if you were using dark backgrounds up until the image). One alternative that worked a bit better for me is to add a white shape over the dark slides (I went with a round-corners rectangle) over which I paste my images. It allows you to use the dark theme throughout.

Hi everyone,

In the spirit of the new year 2021, the JMP brand has undergone a refresh. As part of that effort, we've created new PowerPoint templates -- download them from the Community here.

Also, please note that company confidential templates are part of these new files. Go to Insert --> New Slide and find those with a color bar at the bottom.
