Data Science for All (DS4A), created by Correlation One, is a comprehensive fellowship program that aims to open doors for adult students and professionals from underrepresented communities, including Black, LatinX, LGBTQ+, Women and Veterans. DS4A programs include skills training for data analytics, data science, and data engineering professions, along with career development programming and job placement opportunities.

Mentorship opportunities
DS4A / Women helps women with PhDs and master’s credentials develop into elite data-driven leaders of tomorrow. Apply to be a mentor.
DS4A / Empowerment helps members of Black, LatinX and LGBTQ+ communities earn roles in analytics. Apply to be a mentor.
Anne Milley (@anne_milley) started mentoring in the DS4A / Empowerment program in the summer of 2021, working with teams and individuals to support their career development. Later this month, she will be a mentor in the DS4A / Women program.
“I've really enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about how Correlation One works and its unique business model,” says Anne. “It was great to connect with other mentors (one of them I learned uses JMP!) and be involved with the group assigned to me, advising them on their project and if they wanted, one-on-one time to talk about their careers and what kinds of opportunities they could pursue.”
Each mentor is matched with one to three fellows based on common interests, experience, time zones and availability.
- Mentors provide guidance and support for data and analytics professionals from underrepresented communities
- Mentors are encouraged to connect fellows with job opportunities or recruit them to their team

Each year, 1,000+ DS4A fellows are selected from over 50,000 applicants. Participation is completely free, supported by companies who endow fellowships and recruit program alums. The DS4A program is developed and managed by Correlation One, an education technology company that helps enterprises build world-class data science and analytics teams.
“I hope colleagues who are interested to learn more about this program will consider becoming mentors. It’s very gratifying to engage with this community and see the blossoming of so many who haven’t had access and support to pursue more data skills.”
What a great thing to do with your "spare time," @anne_milley. Thank you for sharing. This is really beautiful.
