Database: is that possible to update rather than save a table within a DatabaseHello,
I know how to update a JMP table from a Database, but can we do the reverse ?
A customer wants to use JMP to open a pdf, work on the data (through a formula column) and save the outcome within a database. I show her how to save a table in a database but the question came "can we update rather than replace (save)" ? I don't see how to, but in case I missed something I ask the question.

Re: Database: is that possible to update rather than save a table within a DatabaseStrictly speaking, yes, it’s possible. You can do it through SQL commands in JMP. But, the odds are that the user isn’t going to get the DB admin’s permission to do it. They get really nervous when people want to do this.

If I understand correctly this means that she has to code in SQL, correct ? nothing like Action recorder ?

Re: Database: is that possible to update rather than save a table within a DatabaseYes, JSL is the only way that I’m aware of to do it.
