The JMP menu editor doesn't allow me to delete Add-Ins that are in my menu. Do I have to use another tool for this?
under view -> Add-ins you can change the order using Load Order:
This helps a bit, however I believe there is a way to do this more elegant. May this video and zip helps:

My intention was to organize my add-ins a bit. I made submenus and copied add-ins into the submenus. That all worked as expected. I got hung up trying to delete the original add-in entries on the top level menu, is there a way to do this?
I was just talking to Brady about this yesterday. Should have posted here, but didn't think there'd be much interest. This is a particular problem if you have a lot of add-ins, especially on the Mac, where menu creation is not as flexible as on Windows. Brady suggested checking out Justin Chilton's Add-In Manager. He talked about it at Discovery St. Louis. This can probably be done by altering the usercust.jmpcust and addin.jmpcust files, but Justin's solution is quite a bit easier.
