Scripting RSM using Custom Design platform

Hi all,

I am trying to set up a script with which users can enter the names of continuous factors they want to create a custom design with and I wanted to script that in the first step, all interactions and quadratic terms will be included into the model. Is that possible without specifying exactly for which factors these terms should be included? If I create such a model by using the JMP Custom Design platform something like this is delivered as a script:

 

Add Term( {1, 0} ), Add Term( {1, 1} ),
Add Term( {2, 1} ), Add Term( {3, 1} ), Add Term( {4, 1} ), Add Term( {5, 1} ),
Add Term( {1, 2} ), Add Term( {1, 1}, {2, 1} ), Add Term( {2, 2} ),
Add Term( {1, 1}, {3, 1} ), Add Term( {2, 1}, {3, 1} ), Add Term( {3, 2} ),
Add Term( {1, 1}, {4, 1} ), Add Term( {2, 1}, {4, 1} ),

 

Afterwards the user would still have the opportunity to remove some terms again.

One way would be to send the DOE object a Make Model(RSM) message. The user could then add or remove terms as needed before creating the design. Something like this:

{Add Response( Maximize, "Y", ., ., . ),
Add Factor( Continuous, -1, 1, "X1", 0 ),
Add Factor( Continuous, -1, 1, "X2", 0 ),
Add Factor( Continuous, -1, 1, "X3", 0 ),
Add Factor( Continuous, -1, 1, "X4", 0 ),
Make Model (RSM)}
);
