I want to use this thread as a way to get your questions about JMP Share answered. Here are a first couple Qs that might come up and some As. Feel free to ask more below.
Q: What is the roadmap/release schedule for JMP Share?
A: We will begin an EA program of JMP Share starting in the summer. Beginning with the production version of JMP 14.2, JMP users will begin to be able to publish to JMP Share Public, a platform that lets bloggers, thought leaders, academics and professors share interesting data visualizations and dashboards with the JMP community. Starting in 2019, we will begin offering the JMP Share hosted product and then after that, the on-premises JMP Share product. As we get closer to these milestones, I will provide more details.
Q: Do you have pricing information available?
A: We are working on pricing and packaging right now. As soon as we have a more finalized plan, it will be shared. For now, no pricing is available.
Q: I have a customer that I'd like to show JMP Share or talk to about JMP Share. Can I?
A: Yes, but, please discuss with Dan Valente first. Before the opening of the EA program, JMP Share can be demonstrated to the right customer, however, until the EA program opens, no customers will be able to publish to JMP Share Public. After the EA program is open in the summer, we can start showing this off to more customers.
Q: Can I try out JMP Share myself?
A: As of Jan/Feb 2018, we are limiting access because the platform is still being actively developed, so generally no. Once we are at a point where the platform is more stable and we know how it handles the load of multiple users, we will consider opening up access to JMP employees and update how that process is managed.
