hi all,
As many of you know we are working on developing JMP's taxonomy - focusing on the first list of our core industries (pharma, chem, semi, oil&gas, consumer products). One of the two deliverables for this project is a “map” of how our core industries map into our products in capabilities. The teams have done a tremendous job over the last few months building this information out. We are now in the phase of taking this information and, utilizing JMP, present this information in a format that is usable for our sales teams.
We have built this JMP Live report for the Oil and Gas industry, however, to make it more usable, it still needs quite a bit of formatting. A few things that i have not been able to figure out:
1. is there a way to have information that is one cell in JMP show up as almost a list in the same cell? For example you will see there is a list of capabilities that looks like this: Data access/data blending and cleaning/data exploration and visualization/Design of Experiments/basic data analysis and modeling/quality and process engineering/reliability analysis/automation and scripting/sharing and communicating results.
In order to make this information more parsable, we would like them to stay in the same cell, but each be on a new line in the cell (like a hard return) something that looks like this:
Data Access
Data Blending and Cleaning
Data Exploration and Visualization
Design of Experiments
....
Does anyone have an idea of how to achieve this? I have tried using the /N! with no luck.
2. Second issue is the last "resources" column. Ideally we would have a description of the link and not the url showing. So instead of: https://www.jmp.com/en_us/industries/data-analysis-software-for-the-oil-and-gas-industry.html it would be Oil and Gas Industry page. Again, trying to make the information more useful so people know what they are clicking on.
I have tried the event handler for this one, and Mia tried the value labels with no luck.
Not sure what i am missing. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you!!
