New Development Planning ToolUse PLATO to easily develop a customized training plan, track your progress and review with your manager.
Lane Whatley shared details on InsideSAS. In case you missed it:
SAS employees now have access to a tool called PLATO that can be used to develop a customized training plan and track progress. This tool may sound familiar to EMEA employees because it was available as ACME in years past.
To create your plan, simply search PLATO’s extensive catalog of curated training courses and certifications offered by SAS and other 3rd party suppliers. The catalog is simple to navigate and includes the ability to search by tags (e.g. Most Popular, Top Rated, Topic, etc.). If there is a topic you are looking for but do not see any opportunities available within the platform, you can request that type of training. When you find courses that support your development goals, just add them to your training plan and assign categories to track your progress over time. Your manager has access to your plan, too, so make it a topic of discussion at your regular check-ins.
