What is the JMP Assets Manager?
JMP Marketing has a lot of digital image assets—photos, graphics, screenshots, etc. Historically there have been lots of assets in lots of places. Developed by @RyanClare, JMP Assets Manager (JAM) was created to be a single source for centralized asset management and easier creation, sharing and retrieval of JMP digital assets.
In the JAM you can find:
- Photos of JMP internal staff (with bios)
- Photos of event speakers (with bios)
- Social media tiles
- Promotional graphics
The JAM is where you can:
- Access photo assets
- Access staff and speaker bios
- Create graphics for events using pre-designed, approved templates
What is the difference between the JAM and the AEM DAM?
The AEM DAM stores files that are displayed on external facing websites such as jmp.com and discoverysummit.jmp. Images in the AEM DAM need to be scaled to the appropriate size for use on websites.
The JAM is the space for original, high-quality photos and graphics. The JAM has features to scale down images to any size needed (social media, JMP websites, emails, etc.) but is primarily for high resolution assets.
Sounds exciting! Who can access it?
Anyone in JMP can access JAM, but there are some limits on asset creation:
- All JMP staff can search and download images.
- All JMP staff can create and download graphics using available templates.
- Only JMP Marketing can upload and edit assets.
Where can I find it?
The JMP Assets Manager (JAM) is at jam.jmp.com.
How do I use it? Where do I start?
On the homepage, start with the Photos tab (camera icon). Search, filter, and sort to see what’s there.
Use the Graphics tab (image icon) to see what graphics are available. Download graphics or create a new one using the templates.
Where do I go if I have questions?
