Hi,
before I create a Support Ticket, I just wanted to check if there might be an underlying reason for a behavior in the DSD Design generation:
1. create a default DSD with e.g. 5 factors and generate the design. the Color Map will show all main effects and 2-factor interactions
2. Create a default DSD with 5 factors but change one factor name e.g. X1->test. generate the design. The color map will now only show main effects.
I checked the custom designer, there the map does reflect the change as expected and does not remove interactions.
I think this is a missed implementation (rather than a bug) but should be changed. However, there is a chance there is a good reason for it
Thanks for feedback
Martin
I followed your steps but I did not reproduce the problem I get identical color maps.
It appears to depend on when in the process the factor name is changed. Changing it before clicking Continue produces the full color map, but changing it after clicking Continue produces the main effects-only color map.
Thanks @martindemel, @markbailey, and @Ross_Metusalem. I've opened a Jira ticket and will add Martin's technical support track to the ticket when I receive it.
