Hi Folks,
We welcome Joseph Reese and Clark Ledbetter to the SE community in the Americas.
We had a great presentation 18 April, 2022 from our own Byron Wingerd.
The agenda was:
Byron Wingerd: “A few versions back JMP introduced a new set of tools to help customers easily bring data into JMP from Excel. Brady gave us a convenient set of examples to start with in that version’s JMP starter, and we all took it from there.
The Excel Demo Workbook includes examples that go from the simple to the complex and provide JMP SE’s a leveled up starting point for creating their own industry specific examples. The accompanying document is SE focused and describes the motivation and background of the example and includes step by step instructions for presenting the examples. The examples also include JSL both for automating complex steps as well as for explicitly documenting the steps unambiguously, just in case the menus change in the future. I hope that you will find this to be a useful resource, or at least find the commentary amusing. Again the goal isn’t to define the definitive Excel demo, but provide a useful starting point to spark your creativity in customizing compelling content for your customers.”
