display of multiple images<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />Is there a straightforward way to display images in JMP and sort by separately coded variables? Can this be done in graph builder?
thanks

Re: display of multiple imagesHi Djm,
I have attached a data set for US senators that you can check out. Run the Graph Builder script to see where images are associated with data points. There are couple that are pinned to the graph. Let me know if you want to set up a WebEx to go over what you are trying to accomplish.

Bill
Re: display of multiple imagesHi Bill,
That is essentially what I want to do. Can you send a simple sample dataset, or some more specific directions on how to set this up? My 1st attempts at this failed, I couldn’t seem to get the images to show up.
Thanks

Re: display of multiple imagesHi djm,
I am not 100% certain as to what you are trying to do, but I will give it a shot. Graph builder is the way to go for what you are attempting to do. Drag and drop variables into X & Y. As long as you have the associated images in your data table you should be able to hover or click on any data point in the graph to see the image associated with that point. You can pin the images in graph builder if you want them to show without hovering.
You can then go to the red hot spot in Graph Builder, go to script and select local data filter at the bottom of the list. Select the variables you want to filter on and select add. To use multiple variables for filtering at once, select one and then control click the other.
Best,
Bill
