I would love to be part of the 70 seats in pilot program. How can I register?
What is ReferenceEdge?
ReferenceEdge is a Salesforce add-in that will augment the way we maintain and manage JMP advocate and reference data. This 2-minute video will give you a good overview.
ReferenceEdge will allow us to track in Salesforce:
- Who is an advocate.
- Who is referenceable.
- Their current status.
- What activities they’re open to.
- How often they’re open to being contacted.
We can use this information to:
- Gather data on how advocates influence revenue.
- Centralize and consolidate user advocate knowledge.
- Make user advocate information searchable by persona, industry, geography, etc.
- Keep user advocate data current and prevent reference fatigue by setting limits on the number of times in a given period a single contact can be used for reference or speaking engagement requests.
- Gather data on how and when sales teams use marketing assets – and which are most successful in influencing revenue.
- Reframe reference activities as opportunities for our users to add value to their organization. By making reference program conversations a standard part of the sales journey, we will be able to better use these opportunities to cultivate and develop users into proactive champions.
ReferenceEdge will help Sales by:
- Automatically generating a curated library of marketing resources (success stories, PowerPoint slides, customer quotes, webinars, etc.) related to any new opportunity created in Salesforce.
- Facilitating reference calls between JMP users and prospects at different accounts.
- Offering more targeted filters aligned to the new JMP Taxonomy.
ReferenceEdge will help Marketing and User Enablement by:
- Making it easy to search for customers who fit a specific industry/functional group profile to speak at events.
- Preventing customers from being contacted by JMP too often with requests.
Who will have access to ReferenceEdge?
Our pilot program will launch in May 2022 with 70 seats divided globally between Salesforce users from JMP Sales, Marketing and User Enablement.
Want to get a head start?
Check out the documentation attached. Training will begin in May.
Thanks so much for your enthusiasm and interest, @IdaRahim ! I would love for you to be part of the pilot, though I will say that the decision of who gets a seat during which phase of the rollout will be made by sales management. Eventually my goal is to make the system available to all Salesforce users at JMP
