Help with SAS

Question

Hi, I am using the JMP 8 trial. When I use JMP to start a new program, I right-click -> run, but it doesn't do anything. I've seen in tutorials that I am supposed to submit to an SAS server, but what am I supposed to put into the window that pops up? Thanks a bunch

Are you trying to run a SAS program from within JMP?  If so, you need to use File -> SAS -> Server Connections then choose to connect locally to PC SAS or to a remote server.  Then use File -> SAS -> New SAS Program to bring up the SAS program editor.  Then you can just right click and submit your code to SAS.
