Re: Do these JMP reports work on your device? It worked on my iPhone. Thanks, John. It helps to be able to scroll down while something is selected and keep it selected. The swipe type scroll is pretty much how I would do it so it works the way I work on the various devices that I use.
Thanks again.

Re: Do these JMP reports work on your device?Chris,
If I got the attachment correct, it is a tall Fit Model report in Interactive HTML
On my iPad, I tried selecting a few markers in the Regression Plot, then scrolled down to see what markers were selected in the Residual Plot at the bottom. The markers didn't deselect when I scrolled down.
I'm pretty sure the behavior will be the same on your iPhone, but if it isn't please let me know.
Sorry we didn't get that right before creating the JMP HTML5 Examples.
Thanks,
~John
Re: Do these JMP reports work on your device?Good point Chris,
I think we've addressed this in a recent build. So, if you tap down to scroll, we don't deselect, but if you tap without swiping, we deselect.
Unfortunately, we don't have the ability to update the external web site to update the samples, but I'll post at least one sample here or send it to you directly later this week.
Thanks again for the feedback.
~John
Re: Do these JMP reports work on your device? Is it possible to change this behavior somehow? If I want to look at other plots that are combined with one that I have selected, then I need to scroll down to see those other plots. On a touch screen, I have no choice but to touch outside of the plot to move to different parts of the report.

Re: Do these JMP reports work on your device?Chris,
Thanks for trying this out.
Martin is right, we deselect when you click or tap outside the plot.
Good to hear that is the only problem (so far) with the iPhone - iOS8 is fairly recent for us, so it hasn't seen as much testing as iOS7. Some of the bubble plot examples may challenge your iPhone - they crash Safari on my old iPhone.
Thanks,
~John
Re: Do these JMP reports work on your device?Hi John and Chris,
This behavior is nothing linked to iDevices only. In the original html site e.g. for the bivariate:
Selecting a bar and then clicking outside the graph removes the selection. As on touch screens you have to touch outside the graph this is just the logic behavior, even if not intended or useful when scrolling down with the finger
