Problem importing Excel date format --> JMP 16.2Good evening,
I upgraded from v16.0 to v16.2 of JMP today.
By using an already existing file (under v15, then v16.0), I unfortunately experienced a bug importing the date format (be careful, no error message but I consider this import defect as a bug now ).
I have a script that allows me to retrieve data from an Excel file (xlsx). The Excel file as well as my JMP table are in date format of type dd/mm/yyyy for the date column. But when I import data from Excel to JMP I sometimes end up with a "." black instead of my data = no data or not recognized, or with the date as I expect it in dd/mm/yyyy format.
I tried changing the column property to Best Fit, I end up with the date in the format number=ex:441025, unworkable as it is but proving that the import works and it is indeed 'a date format inconsistency.
Thank you in advance for your help !

Data TableScriptingRe: Problem importing Excel date format --> JMP 16.2Hello Nelson, Thank you for your feedback! Here is a light example (because it is confidential) of the Excel file from which the data (including the date) is extracted.

Re: Problème d'importation du format date Excel --> JMP 16.2I was able to see your issue running on a Windows 10 pc with JMP 16. I saw the issue with both the Import Wizard, and with the Excel Addin. In my investigation within the Excel Wizard, I happened to click on the "Restore Default Settings" .

Once I did that, the Import Wizard began working properly. However, it did not change the Excel Addin. I was not ever able to get it to work properly.
Please see if by clicking on the "Restore Default Settings" your import begins to work. If it does, or does not, I suggest that you take this issue to the Support Team at JMP.
