Welcome to the JMP Development update for March 4, 2022!
Thanks for all your work on strings this week! Our initial portable UI handoff for JMP 17 will use the results of this weekend’s Stringbot run. We will have a second handoff for portable UI coming near the end of May. We are almost ready to freeze code for JMP EA7 at the end of the day next Friday, March 11. Please update your feature pages with any important late features and fixes that our customers should look at when they download EA7. Also, continue to add any items with downstream impact to the JMP 17 Late Features page in Confluence.
Thanks very much to Geoff Mann for showing off JMP Clinical 17 updates at yesterday’s dev meeting. If you missed it, you can see a recording here. Geoff showcased changes to JMP C reports and shared the details of various performance improvements gained by transitioning to a JSL-backed architecture. Thanks to Dan Schikore for his extensive work with the team during the transition and also to the numerous JMP developers who have responded to bug reports and feature requests from the JMP Clinical. JMP C has just kicked off their initial EA program with the FDA being a particular focus, and they look forward to releasing a second EA iteration this month when we freeze for EA7.
Thanks very much to Audrey Shull for hosting a Jira lunch and learn yesterday. If you missed the meeting, you can find the recording here. Audrey reviewed a number of common operations and fielded numerous questions from JMP team members. I’d like to reiterate that both Audrey and I are glad to answer Jira questions, no matter how small, so don’t hesitate to reach out on Teams if you are wondering how to do something.
John Sall practiced his plenary talk titled “It’s Always Something” for JMP Discovery Europe today. If you missed it and would like a preview prior to the event, you can find the recording here . Please send John any comments and feedback you have.
Thanks to Tonya Mauldin for sharing the details of this week’s Beta/Crash/Telemetry tracks with crashes selected. The JMP Live report is here: Beta/Crash/Telemetry tracks for the week of 3/4/2022 | JMP Live (sas.com).
