Adding custom models to non-linear model library?<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />I have a customer that wants to add their own models into the model library on the non-linear platform. This would be not just for an individual's use, but for their entire group (so a deployable option... I'm thinking the final solution needs to be an Add-in…).
Ideas or help on this? I've searched around a bit and can't find anything, but there might be something Google won't reveal!
Re: Adding custom models to non-linear model library?Laura,
Having attempted this many years ago, it's not too straight forward, particularly coming up with good starting values to prevent non-convergence issues. Clay Barker told me when the new NL platform came out in 10, that it wouldn't be difficult to add built-in models to the platform for commonly used models. If you think it might be something that your customer would be interested in, I'd talk to Clay.

Re: Adding custom models to non-linear model library?Hi Laura,
I found this.
Customize the Nonlinear Model Library
The Model Library is created by a built-in script named NonlinLib.jsl, located in the Resources/Builtins folder in the folder that contains JMP (Windows) or in the Application Package (Macintosh). You can customize the nonlinear library script by modifying this script.
I think you can replace this script on all computers that need it with the edited one that has the models of interest.
