The one-week countdown starts today!
“Discovery Summit is all about connection,” said Jeff Perkinson in an all-hands prep meeting for Discovery Summit Europe 2022. “It’s about our users connecting with each other and our connection with them.”
Based on a request from the steering committee, we designed an experiment. We’ll host Discovery sessions over four days during March. It begins one week from today, and we have more than 1,000 registrants!

On March 2, JMP staff will have access to the virtual conference center. Here's your to-do list:
- Examine the agenda. Make sure your agenda is set to your time zone.
- Add sessions and responsibilities to your schedule.
- Update your Zoom client (zoom.us/download). We’re using a new feature in Zoom for breakout rooms that requires the latest version.
- Fill out your profile, including a picture. Make sure you check all the boxes under privacy settings.
During the event, treat this like an in-person Discovery. Be present, helpful and approachable. And don’t forget to turn on your cameras!
I got to meet Hannah Fry this morning and I am so very excited for her plenary on 08 March. Get ready to go "full geek." She's truly a bad-ass!
