STIPS - other languagesHave had a request for Spanish version, but would imagine other languages common to our customers (Chinese?) would be welcomed.
Public Wish List request:

Re: STIPS - other languages - Status changed to: AcknowledgedWe hear you!
Re: STIPS - other languages@JessicaHorsch yes German would be important. Not just for the big ones, but for the lots of mid-size companies in Germany and Austria which have mainly local employees and their main language is German and only a few speak English to a good extend to be able to follow. This can be true even for big customers like BASF, that the engineers are not English savvy.
Re: STIPS - other languagesLooking on JMP customers and users in EMEA I would request STIPS for German. Is German in the pipeline for translation already? @martindemel what is your opinion?
Re: STIPS - other languagesHi @Bill_Worley @Potcner (cc: @mia_stephens),
Just a heads up that the first module (with perhaps others on the way) of STIPS is now available in Spanish. You'll see we're hinting at subsequent modules, but for customers who can't wait we're suggesting they "continue their learning" in English.
Give a shout if you have any questions.

Re: STIPS - other languagesSpanish and Portuguese would both be helpful. Syngenta is one customer that has a large presence in Central and South America including Brazil.
Re: STIPS - other languages - Status changed to: Open for VotingThanks for posting this Kevin. STIPS has been translated to Chinese, Japanese and Korean, but other translations have been requested (i.e. French, German, and Spanish).
If anyone has encountered requests to translate STIPS, please kudo and/or add comments here with the language requests and named customers if possible.
(PS - one workaround is to pass the transcripts through a translation engine, like GoogleTranslate - this does a decent job, but audio and other HTML content is not translated.)
@ian_jmp FYI

Re: STIPS - other languagesFYI - STIPS on Coursera has been auto-translated (captioning and transcripts) into a number of languages.
