Changing data type requirements for multivariate analysis

I am having challenge with data type requirments when conducting pairwise correlations. In the when selecting variables in 'multivarate and correlations' the y column has a 'required numeric continuous' tag inthe imput. This prevents me from entering non- parametric data for spreamans coorelations. How do get the y column to accept nominal and ordinal data? I am using jmp 13.0.0

You don't change the dialog box for the Multivariate Platform, rather, just right click on the red or green icon (nominal, ordinal) next to the column you want to analyze, and just change it to continuous.  Then you can run the platform and select the Spearman correlation, etc.
