Hello dear community @Martin Demel ,
In our working group we would like to create an assignment with regard to a patient collective, which is divided into different risk groups (1 to 4). A patient is assigned to two different groups: a risk group, which is formed from a score (RG_A) and a risk group, which a doctor recommends (B). Since both have the same value range, it would be interesting to visualize which patients from RG_A to RG_B have been divided into a kind of "stream".
As an example: Patient 01 was assigned in RG_A in 1, but by the doctors in RG_B in 2. Patient 02 has RG_A=3 and RG_B=4. Patient 99 has RG_A = 3 and RG_B = 3. And so forth.
Would it then be possible to display such a current in a diagram in JMP?
Attached to this mail, I have attached a picture of such a stream of voters from the MV state election as an example of how we imagine it. Or do you have any other cool ideas how to solve this?
Best regards,
tonchy

Hi @Tonchy ,
Yes, it is possible to do in JMP. I believe the type of graph you're referring to is called a Parallel Plot in JMP. You can do this in Graph Builder or Graph > Parallel Plot. There is however a lot more versatility to doing it in Graph Builder. Below is an example of one I did with a made up data table (see attached file, the script to run the graph builder is also in there). Each row is a patient and then RG_A and RG_B are just random integers between 1 and 4 -- just to show how it can be done. To change to a Parallel plot in GB, you need to click the far right icon in the control panel. I also overlayed Patient to show the lines.

Hope this helps!,

Hi @SDF1 ,
Just what I was looking for. Thank you very much for the quick solution to my very small problem, haha.
Warm greetings,
