Ring Pie Chart FeatureWe really need to have a Ring Pie Chart option, that is very popular in other reporting/dashboarding software such as SAS VA (Visual Analytics). This would just have a doughnut pie chart with one outer layer and nothing (or perhaps a key metric) in the middle. They sections are more comparable to each other than in a traditional pie chart. They are also great for triggering dynamic linkage….select a section of the ring to drill down on another table or graph, etc. See the picture below from a VA Learning Data Science internal report.
