STIPS Script for Predictive Modeling Fitting Order Selection

Hi JMPers ,

Got a customer asking regrading STIPS course (Predictive modelling Module: Introduction) , 

He found scroll over option below ( 1 to 10) to allow the user change the values and the lines fit the data accordingly (see picture)

This is something similar as "ambda" function in Graph builder.

He is asking for sript used in STIPS for internal teaching purpose. Anyone has any idea? @mia_stephens  thanks

This is something I did a long time ago. I updated it (to make Mia happy ), but I couldn't find the STIPS version. Probably Mia has it somewhere . . .

Yes, thank you Ian, the script really helped illustrate the concepts of over and underfitting. Looking for it now.

After checking with Mia, we think this is the latest version. It's encrypted and you can share externally as required. The code tells me it dates from 2007!
