Here's important information about Buy Now, shared by Carol Gretz in an All Staff email on 07JAN2022.
What’s changing with Buy Now? Beginning January 1, 2022, JMP will no longer be selling new software licenses via Buy Now. Existing links to the Buy Now system from jmp.com will be removed and replaced with links to a sales inquiry form on December 24.
How do I sell to a new customer if Buy Now is not available? Please use the new Licensing Simplification Agreement (the Order Form) if currently available in the country that you support.
Where is the Order Form and automated DocuSign CLM process currently available? US, US FOR, UK, Ireland, Can ada, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Croatia, Denmark, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Norway, Philippines, Serbia, Singapore, Sweden, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Arab Emirates - Abu Dhabi, South Africa (excluding Francophone customers), Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, and Spain. This list will expand to include multiple additional countries in late January 2022. We’ll provide more information at that time.
What if I support a country not included in the list above? In most cases, you can still sell using the Order Form. In this situation, please reach out to JMP Business Operations and they’ll provide you with an Order Form that you can share with your customer manually outside the DocuSign CLM system. The only exception are customers wanting to purchase a license in China, Taiwan, Mexico, Turkey, Russia and Slovenia. In those limited countries, we’ll need to license using the legacy Master License Agreement and Software Supplement. This will change at a later date in 2022 and we’ll provide more information at that time.
What if I have a customer who already has a Buy Now agreement and wants to upgrade their license? Then, no change is needed to their license. The customer may continue to upgrade under their existing Buy Now agreement.
