I’m very pleased and excited to welcome Nala Sun (@Nala) and her team officially into our JMP System Testing team.
We have worked for many years with Nala and her testing group in Beijing. They have provided excellent testing for important JMP features such as Query Builder, Database Integration, Text Explorer, HTML, Import/Export, Python Integration, SAS Integration, Windows Automation, and the Activation mechanism for JMP. Several of the team members are also heavily involved in both front-end and back-end testing for the JMP Live product and the many upcoming features such as a revamped UI, Spaces and Hierarchical Folders.
JMP first began soliciting some extra help from testers in Beijing on an SLA basis approximately 10 years ago. The group (of two, initially) officially reported up through SAS R&D, but worked on projects for JMP Testing part-time. We quickly began to rely on the expertise of those team members, and soon requested that the team be dedicated to testing JMP features full-time. Since then, the team has grown in both size and responsibility, adding its fifth member in 2021. JMP is a higher quality product because of the work they do.
They’ve been part of our extended JMP family for years, but with the new JMP LLC it’s time to bring them officially into the fold. Please help me welcome Nala Sun, Eric Wang (@Eric_Wang), Mike Wu (@Nan_Wu), Da Li (@dali) and Kimi Wang (@KimiWang) to JMP Testing!
