JMP Logo

Our logo is the anchor of the JMP brand, The preferred format includes the logo with the tagline “Statistical Discovery” displayed horizontally. The logo by itself, without the tagline, should only be used for user audiences or individuals who already know our brand.

Special versions of the logo are available but should only be used for their intended purposes.

Good suggestion @SamGardner. If all the needed brand content was in a oneDrive folder that was a shared with all JMP we all would have the latest updates synchronized and always available.

@J_Marquardt that link only is for JMP Logos, but not for the word and powerpoint templates.  I think it would a lot more convenient to have all of the files, including the Brand Guide, in one Sharepoint folder.  That way we could have it synced locally and anytime there is an update we would get that automatically.

Hi @Eric_Hill 

Yes, you can always just File/Save As and save on your own drive. However, I've now loaded the presentation templates at the top of this story as well, so you should be able to just "download" them as well.

Hey - When I click on the PowerPoint template links, they open in PowerPoint Online rather than just downloading as a file.  I even tried holding down the shift key.  Is there a way to download the template files as . . . files?

UPDATE: Nevermind, I did File/Save from PowerPoint Online and got it that way.

Are you having issues accessing both the Stat Speaking and Analytic Workflow ones? I think the Analytic ones come from Sara's OneDrive, so it may be a permission setting we need to adjust. Hi @Audrey_Shull. Aaron reports that the virtual backgrounds have been updated. I've added a JMP Virtual Backgrounds section to the story here; I've included all the visualization and location backgrounds we have for JMP, so you have a good number from which to choose. A public thanks to @Aaron_Kennedy, @J_Marquardt, @katie_stone, @GinaXie, @Atsuko_JMP, @kimsanghyun for getting these updated... and a public apology for those I may have missed who were involved in this effort!

These are great! Is there a refresh planned for the virtual backgrounds, which we used for our backgrounds at JMP Discovery? I still have the ones we used before, but wanted to ask if we will plan to revamp them with the new logos.

Thanks for the heads up @Chris_Kirchberg. Unfortunately, I don't think there's a way to recall the email and since it's static (including the original link when published) I'm guessing everyone will get that message when clicking from within the email. It's now corrected within the story, so I'm comforted that you can access the files from within InsideJMP. (The story will have the long shelf life!) Afraid there's no way to go back into that email and correct... sorry.

However, if I click on the link directly within the post, then it does work. So it seems that clicking on the link from within Outlook does not work, but within the post on a browser, works.

1..  It would be good to summarize some main points here, like type face in ANOVA.

2.  What is the analogous type we can use if drafting something in Word and taking a screen shot?  ANOVA is not an option:

Hi @gail_massari Great question. Though Anova is the official font for the Web and in .ppt decks, it's not a good choice for Word docs or anything that might get printed or shared, especially externally. Because it's a custom font, no one is really going to have Anova available on their machines (or printers), so you probably want to steer away from using it.  

I checked with @Cra1g and he says for the web we use Arial, if for any reason Anova were to fail. So, I would say Arial is the font you should use for Word docs. (Including @Aaron_Kennedy in case he has another option or additional advice.)

Also, you bring up a good point about including commentary around the font in our brand/creative guides. We're working to transition those to a new Brand Page (release date TBD), maybe we can add that to the list of things to share there.

Hi @isabelleswaenep. Let me reach out to you directly to discuss. The short answer is we don't have a brand "sound" for JMP, but I believe we do have we do have access to sources for sound - things like music - that might help you. Also, since this is for a video on LinkedIn, let me also reach out with JMP Social Team, specifically @SarahCromer for advice/guidance that can help us here. I'll be in touch very soon.

Hi @DonMcCormack. We do not have a JMP branded template for Keynote. It's fine to use, but if you use the JMP logo or other brand assets, please be sure to download directly from the Brand Site at go.jmp/brand and get it copyedited using www.jmp.com/request - if presenting at a conference or other high visibility event.
