Hi all,
I had a customer ask whether it is possible to include some factor that accounts for variation between donors.
Here's the situation:
It's a biotech company developing treatments and analysis methods. They use donor cells to develop some method on. These cells are from an unknown donor. Afterwards they apply the results to cells from other donors/patients.
Since every donor is different, they expect to have variability in the final result from donor to donor/patient.
But when they do the method development, they only have a single source of cells, so they cannot include a factor "donor".
Not sure if I just don't see the solution...
Anybody recognize the situation and know how this is typically handled?
Happy about any feedback!
Best
