Customer Enablement is evolving to continue to meet our users’ needs and exceed their expectations.
Led by Director of Customer Enablement Jeff Perkinson (@Jeff_Perkinson), the team now includes Tech Support and JMP Education, in addition to those on the team previously known as Customer Care, with individuals responsible for marketing, digital marketing, customer success and customer engagement.
JMP Education
The JMP Education group – manager Ruth Hummel (@ruthhummel) and instructors Monica Beals (@monica_beals), Di Michelson (@DiMichelson_jmp) and Ledi Trutna(@ledi_trutna) – has joined Customer Enablement. We are pleased to welcome them.
“With Education fully integrated into our business, we’ll be able to provide a continuum of services, everything from brief tutorials on the mechanics of using JMP to more concentrated studies in solving problems with JMP in the real world,” says Jeff. “We will focus on delivering these services around the world.”
This team will:
- Evaluate the training offerings worldwide and expand access to on-demand content.
- Make learning opportunities in multiple languages a priority going forward.
- Provide more educational content for free or low-cost fees.
- Use this time of transition as an opportunity to hear from our customers about their changing education needs.

Tech Support
Meet two new hires in JMP Tech Support. A few words of welcome from Duane Hayes (@Duane_Hayes), Manager of Analytical Support Engineering:
Jasean RasnakeJasean Rasnake (@jasean_rasnake) recently joined the JMP Technical Support team. He comes to us from Flir Systems, formerly Digital Optics Corp. Though he is new to JMP (the company), he has many years of experience with JMP (the software). Jasean will take on a lot of support responsibility including JSL, add-ins, application builder, action recorder and various analytical platforms. Currently, he works remotely in Charlotte, NC, but will move to the Cary area with his wife, Meredith, and his two sons, Joseph and Sean, at the end of the school year. Jasean is the proud owner of a Cessna Cardinal aircraft and in his spare time enjoys flying to various destinations. He is already known by many, so send him a note to officially welcome him to JMP!
Patrick GiulianoIn addition, we welcome Patrick Giuliano (@PatrickGiuliano) to the team. Many in JMP may already know him from his Community contributions. He will be our West coast support person. He comes to us from Abbott Labs and has worked in the medical devices field for more than 15 years. Besides working with his favorite software, JMP, he enjoys salsa dancing with his wife, JeAnne, and going to the gym when possible. He is also a confirmed coffee nut, and a dark chocolate aficionado! Welcome to JMP, Patrick!
Other People on the Move
Ryan ClareDigital Designer Ryan Clare (@RyanClare) will join Customer Enablement from the Digital Operations team on Jan. 1. He will focus on the JMP User Community, InsideJMP and online documentation. He will continue to support discoverysummit.jmp and the JMP Asset Library.
Taylor FergusonTaylor Ferguson (@Taylor_Ferguson), who has been an intern since May 2021, will join as a full-time employee on Jan. 1. Taylor will be a Marketing Data Analyst, focused on developing understanding of our users through methods like the JMP User Survey. This knowledge will be critical as we grow to meet our goal of 1 million users.
