[Announcement summary]
It could be said that JMP16 has made us all programmers. The enhanced logging action recorder can now save point-and-click data work as a playable script.
In this presentation, you will learn intermediate JSL techniques to make your code more versatile, more robust, and easier to use so that you can continue to use it in the future. We will also briefly review the basic syntax of JSL and then do a case study that introduces three techniques.
1. Use loops to perform actions on many columns at once.
2. Extract numbers from JMP reports and reuse them later.
3. Allow users to specify data files and columns at run time.
