A month ago, we conducted a JMP-wide brainstorm with 140 people contributing to seven topics of interest to our business. We heard 10 presentations about the ways that we could make JMP a better organization, then we voted on topics that we believe will have the broadest impact on JMP and could be executed within a year.
Based on the votes, we will develop three workstreams to address the following topics in 2022:
- UX/UI, to be facilitated by Dan Valente’s Product Management team
- Recruitment & Retention, to be facilitated by Lori Casto, Senior Manager, Inside Sales
- Professional Development, to be facilitated by Phil Kay, Learning Manager, Global Enablement

Getting involved in a workstream
Feeling enthusiastic about one of these workstreams? Here’s what’s involved:
- The workstreams will meet periodically – anywhere from once a month to once a quarter.
- There may also be individual work.
- Workstreams will report out to the division during our Q2 and Q4 updates next year.
We are collecting an interest list of people who want to join a workstream. Please fill out the form by Friday, Dec. 10. You’ll be asked what workstream you’d like to join and if you have approval from your manager.
Based on your interest, we’ll curate workstreams to ensure that each has global representation, is multidisciplinary and brings many perspectives to the topic.
Workstreams will be in place by the end of the year so that each initiative can begin in 2022.
