[Announcement summary]
Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is generally used to test complex hypothetical models for the purpose of obtaining bird's-eye view. However, careful prior research and specialized knowledge of the target area are indispensable for constructing the hypothetical model that is the core of this approach, and it takes a considerable amount of time and energy to prepare and examine it. Moreover, even if trial and error is repeated in the examination of the hypothetical model, it is not always possible to obtain a model with a good goodness of fit as a result. Furthermore, as a result, it is often the case that one cannot convince oneself and lead to a persuasive consideration to others.
In this presentation, we will introduce a methodology for developing a hypothetical model of SEM, starting from the results of selective bilateral causal analysis based on priority orientation, using the case of online research. In this methodology of gradually expanding the hypothesis model, by utilizing the analysis tool of JMP Pro, it is possible to efficiently approach the construction of the hypothesis model of SEM, and the goodness-of-fit index of multiple models can be easily compared. It will be possible. At the time of presentation, a concrete explanation of this methodology will be given in an easy-to-understand manner with a JMP demonstration using actual survey data.
