[Announcement summary]
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a neurodegenerative disease that primarily affects the upper and lower motor neurons. Diagnosis is based on various evaluations for accuracy, but it continues to take an average of 12 months or more after symptoms appear. Therefore, early diagnosis of ALS is very important for prolonging survival and improving quality of life.
The purpose of this presentation is to use sequential pattern mining and cSPADE to observe frequently occurring diagnostic patterns and evaluate their usefulness in predicting ALS.
