Congratulations on another successful Discovery Summit Korea and for those impressive numbers! Well done!
Four hundred participants. Eighteen presentations. One very successful event!
Discovery Summit Korea is a gathering of the best analytic minds. This year, the team from JMP Korea hosted about 400 participants from a variety of industries, including electronics, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals and agriculture.
Overheard at Discovery Summit Korea 2021
“It seems to me that attendees were surprised with JMP’s power and vast applications,” said JMP Korea Country Manager Chul-Hee Min (@ChulHee_JMP). “Discovery Summit is a great way to build the JMP community in Korea!”
Here's what some participants said about the event:
“It is important to understand not only how to use software, but also to fundamentally combine statistical models and data. When explaining data partitioning, it was very practical to apply the concept of block to data to make it easier to understand. The contents of RCBD and split-plot design were also very helpful in practice.”
“It was a real estate insight that I could not hear anywhere else.”
“Through the wonderful presentation, I was able to see what direction I could develop as a beginner in JMP.”
And one presenter mentioned that his own project was inspired by last year's Discovery Summit Korea keynote from Prof. Lee.
“Why I Started: I got the idea and confidence from the project of Professor Jong-seok Lee of Sungkyunkwan University at the Discovery Summit Korea 2020.”

Participants learned about:
- Functional Data Explorer in the smart factory
- Geo-mapping real estate data
- Split-plot design in agricultural research
- DOE to improve rubber durability
